Basham, Doug: KDWN, The Doug Basham Show - Las Vegas, NV - www.dougbasham.com - September 23, 2001 / July 8, 2001

Henderson Radio Networks and local radio host Doug Basham are pleased to announce an agreement that will syndicate Basham's daily radio show to radio stations across the country beginning May 2. The new program will be heard weeknights from 10pm-1am Pacific Time, and will feature the Vegas resident's take on the issues of the day with his signature bombastic, liberal perspective. The Doug Basham Show will be heard on stations from California and Nevada to Massachusetts and Florida, offering a respite from boring nighttime talk that focuses on niche topics. "The issues we discuss are important to everyone," says Basham. Prior to syndication, Basham was heard on 50,000-watt blowtorch KDWN (AM 720), where he was summarily fired for speaking out against the policies of the Bush administration. While at KDWN, Basham improved ratings as much as 300% in his timeslots, including his greatest success going head-to-head with internet columnist Matt Drudge, winning by phenomenal margins. Currently, Basham hosts a morning program on KLAV (AM 1230), where he performs well against conservative standard-bearer Rush Limbaugh and other right-wing dominated talk. Before entering radio, Basham has been an entertainer, performer, and magician.

Gregory, Dan: WPBR, Let's Talk with Dan Gregory - West Palm Beach, FL - www.talk1340wpbram.com - October 25, 2001

Dan Gregory is Palm Beach County's Premiere Full-time Am Radio talk show host! In 1976, WPBR changed from a music station to a talk station. On Friday evenings, then-owner, the late Everett Aspinwall, approached Dan, the station's evening disc jockey, and surprised him telling him that he would no longer play music on Monday; he would talk for 4 hours, instead! Dan, having been one of the station's veteran music personalities, was understandably nervous. "How does one talk for four hours," he asked himself? But up to the task as Dan always has been, that Monday, he began talking. And he's been doing so ever since! The man with the golden voice has also been a commercial spokesman on New York television, and had at one time aspired to be a Major League Baseball player. Indeed, Dan played in the Minor Leagues, when an unfortunate accident put a stop to his career. But we are grateful that Dan has turned his misfortune into our good fortune, inspiring us to speak our minds, just as he speaks his, on issues that matter, over the radio, now for almost 30 years!

Shirley MacLaine I think we all choose the paths of our lives. I knew I wanted to be a "communicator" from the very beginning. The truth of a character I'm playing, the truth of the subject matter I write about or the truth of why we are alive and how it relates to our destiny.

Noory, George: KTRS, Coast To Coast with George Noory - St. Louis, MO - www.coasttocoastam.com - March 4, 2002

George Noory took over the reins from retiring Art Bell on January 1, 2003 to become the host of America's most fascinating overnight radio program. Now with a 30-year history in the broadcasting field under his belt in such positions as executive television news producer and news director, George brings a wide swath of experience to the table. In fact, at age 28 he was the youngest major news market news director in the country when he was at KMSP-TV in Minneapolis. But it was just a couple of years ago that he came to the attention of Premiere Radio Networks, who heard him on his late-night radio program on KTRS in St. Louis. Known as "the Nighthawk," George's penchant for covering paranormal topics with enthusiasm and skill impressed Premiere. He was then brought on board to host the Sunday night Coast to Coast show. Other highlights of George's life include serving nine years in the U.S. Naval Reserve and winning three Emmy Awards as a news executive. But certainly manning the helms of Coast to Coast AM is a pinnacle for George, allowing him to pursue the unexplained on a grand scale. It's become his destiny to guide the huge audience from more than 500 radio stations through the night in this dynamic format created by Art Bell. Across America, and around the world on the Internet, George Noory's voice rings out.
